Bio
Ambitious, resourceful and effective, Jake is dedicated to achieving his clients’ goals by using creative, straight-forward and cost effective solutions.
Prior to joining Fine & Deo, Jake completed his Juris Doctor at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. He previously obtained his Bachelor of Management from the Rowe School of Business at Dalhousie University. While at law school, Jake took a keen interest in extracurricular activities, including acting as co-chair of the Ontario-wide law school hockey tournament, the Queen’s Law Cup. During his final year at law school Jake spent a semester studying at the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Law.
After articling at Fine & Deo, Jake returned as an associate in order to further pursue a career in condominium law. Jake was drawn to condominium law not only because it is in his blood, but also because of the many facets of law that encompass condominium law. The ever-changing nature of the industry and the prospect of being on the forefront of change is what pushes Jake to continually find new and creative solutions to better suit his clients’ needs.
Outside of the office, Jake is an avid hockey player and enjoys travelling the world, immersing himself in the different cultures it has to offer.
