Mario Deo

"Early in my career I was taught how to build relationships with people and provide excellent customer service. Getting to know someone is about engaging in conversations, truly listening to what they say and understanding their objectives and not your own. "

Mario Deo

Mario is known for his positive demeanor, genuine approach, and the high value he places on client and peer relationships.

A senior partner with Fine & Deo, Mario completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics before attending law school at the University of Western Ontario.  As a nationally recognized condominium lawyer, Mario’s focus is on representing condominium corporations.

Having written and published numerous articles on a wide variety of issues related to condominium law, Mario is widely recognized and highly regarded as an expert on condominium law. He also holds numerous teaching and volunteer positions. He has lectured at the Law Society of Upper Canada on issues relating to condominium law and law practice issues and has been a presenter at numerous Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) and Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) conferences and luncheons.  He has taught courses on condominium law at both Humber and Seneca College and since 1993 has delivered the Condo 101 and the Advanced Directors Courses offered by the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI).

Mario has been appointed as a legal expert in condominium issues to the Tarion Consumer Advisory Committee. He currently serves as President of CCI-Toronto, is a past editor of Condo Voice Magazine, and is a member of the ACMO/CCI Conference Committee.
